Rebeca Mojica jewelry is committed to supporting a variety of causes that align with the values of compassion, connection, justice, kindness and learning. With a special focus on LGBTQIA+ rights, social and environmental justice, animal rights, and the arts, I strive to make a positive impact on my community and beyond.

Currently, as a sole proprietorship, all donations are made personally. However, once I incorporate again, donations will come directly from the business. I am committed to increasing my philanthropic contributions as my company grows.

2024 Donations

In 2024, I was proud to support the following organizations and individuals:

Kizh Nation: As a resident of West Hollywood, CA, my home and business are located on the ancestral, stolen homelands of the Gabrieleño Kizh peoples. Every year, Rebeca Mojica Jewelry and Blue Buddha Boutique pay a small percentage of our gross sales to the city as a business tax. Beginning this year, I am allocating an equal amount to be paid annually to the Kizh Nation. This donation represents a small step toward reparations and acknowledges the Kizh people's history and ongoing presence in the Los Angeles area.

It Gets Better Project: I believe in supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and creating a world where all young people feel safe, loved, and empowered. My donation to the It Gets Better Project helps them continue their important work of uplifting, empowering, and connecting LGBTQIA+ youth around the globe.

Support for Dan: I was saddened to learn of the health challenges faced by Dan, a long-time employee and friend. In addition to making a personal donation to his GoFundMe campaign, I am also donating the proceeds from sales of the Interwoven 4-in-1 tutorial.

Looking Ahead

I am excited to continue the company's philanthropic efforts in 2025 and beyond. I look forward to new opportunities to give back and make a difference in the lives of others!
