Autumn Leaves - Jewelry Color Palette
The Autumn Leaves Color Palette is inspired by the rich, warm colors of fall: golden yellows, fiery oranges, deep reds, and earthy browns.
The basic palette includes gold, orange red and brown. If the jewelry piece allows for more colors, I'll add intermediary shades of orange and/or additional shades of brown. I typically avoid incorporating bright yellow or any cranberry/burgundy dye lots that have a blue-ish undertone, keeping the entire palette warm and cosy.
The Autumn Leaves palette is the Flame palette plus brown. The idea behind "autumn = brown" is that the fallen leaves reveal the various shades of brown of the branches and bark. (Sure, maybe my logic is a bit quirky, but just go with it 😉)
- 3-color version: orange, red, brown
- 5-color version: gold, orange, papaya, red, brown
- extra colors include peach, copper, russet, espresso and cranberry — essentially, anything that looks like more leaves or bark! Marsala should also be on this list (I accidentally forgot it when putting together the graphic, oops!)
- I purposely omitted pink leaves (think magenta or fuchsia) from this palette in order to keep things more in the orange family, however those colors can be added in by request
