Finger Armor - Mesh Diamond Statement Ring
Approximately 100 individual stainless steel links are meticulously joined by hand to create a flexible chainmaille mesh that moves as you do. This ring will be one of the most comfortable rings you've ever worn!
This statement ring provides a feeling of security, and the surprising flexibility also makes for perfect fidget jewelry. The dense mesh makes this handmade ring particularly durable. (I’ve accidentally stepped on my chainmaille ring—while wearing combat boots even!—and it was completely unscathed! Obviously I don’t recommend stepping on yours - but know that if it happens, the ring will almost certainly be just fine!)
- diamond shape measures approximately 1.75” tall and 1” wide
- made to order in a wide range of sizes to ensure a perfect fit
- tarnish-resistant stainless steel
- weight varies by size, but is approximately 13 grams (about the weight of 6 US dimes)
-
due to the rings size and shape, it is recommended to be worn on the middle finger (and can also be worn on the index finger)
SIZING:
Before you order, you'll need to know your exact ring size. You can visit a local jeweler to get sized, or check out the size guide in the listing photos. Keep in mind that your finger size is very sensitive to temperature changes. For the most accurate measurement, measure your finger when it's at rest in comfortable temperatures (around 68-75°F or 20-24°C). Avoid sizing when your hands are swollen from heat or activity, or if your fingers are very cold.
This chainmaille ring is flexible, but it doesn't stretch (metal combined with rubber can), but it will "settle" after a few hours of wear. The individual links reorient themselves, rotating slightly until they are at their most “comfortable” and relaxed position. This could increase the size by about 1/4 to 1/2 size. When you first try on your ring (again, doing so in comfortable temperatures), it should require just a bit of force to get it on. The ring should fit snugly, but not be uncomfortably tight. If your ring doesn't fit, please contact us for resizing. We want you to love your new chainmaille ring!
Note: In the photo I am wearing a size 8 ring, and I have fairly thin fingers.
